This Privacy Policy explains how Marjani Entertainment LLC, operating the TAKEBK platform (collectively, “TAKEBK,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use takebk.com, TAKEBK artist tools, NFC keychain experiences, purchases, and messaging features.
Information we collect
- Account and contact information, such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, artist names, and login information.
- Order, Fan Support, and transaction information, such as payment amount, currency, status, supporter email when supplied to Stripe, Stripe transaction identifiers, refunds, and disputes. Full card and bank-account details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by TAKEBK.
- Artist and release content, including artwork, audio, descriptions, links, and files submitted to the platform.
- Fan information voluntarily submitted through an artist’s fan-list form, including contact details, city or ZIP code, and separate email and text-consent choices.
- Usage and device information, including approximate city or region, browser or device type, NFC key activity, page interactions, and technical logs.
- Messages sent to or from a TAKEBK number, including message content, delivery status, and consent records.
How we use information
We use information to operate and secure TAKEBK; create and manage artist releases; verify NFC access; process and fulfill orders; provide customer service; enable artist-to-fan communications; maintain consent and opt-out records; improve platform performance; prevent fraud or abuse; and comply with legal, carrier, and contractual requirements.
Fan Support and connected-account information
Stripe processes Fan Support payments and artist payout onboarding. Stripe may collect payment-card information from supporters and identity, business, tax, and bank-account information from artists under Stripe’s own privacy terms. TAKEBK receives limited transaction and connected-account information needed to enable Fan Support, confirm payment status, show artist reporting, reconcile refunds and disputes, prevent fraud, and provide support. TAKEBK does not receive or store complete payment-card or bank-account numbers.
Artist access to fan information
When a fan joins a specific artist’s fan list, TAKEBK makes the submitted information available to that artist according to the fan’s selected permissions. Artists are instructed to use each channel only when the fan has granted permission.
SMS and MMS privacy
Mobile information and text-messaging consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. This restriction includes phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and consent records. We may share information with service providers that help us deliver and secure messages, but only as necessary to provide the requested service and subject to appropriate restrictions.
If you select the optional text-consent checkbox, TAKEBK or the artist you selected may send recurring promotional SMS or MMS messages, including new-release announcements, show information, merchandise, special offers and promotional artist updates. When we disclose information
We may disclose information to vendors that provide hosting, databases, payments, fulfillment, email, analytics, security, and communications; to the artist whose fan list you voluntarily joined; to professional advisers; during a business transaction; or when required to protect rights, safety, security, or comply with law. We do not authorize service providers to use mobile opt-in information for their own marketing.
Cookies and analytics
TAKEBK may use local storage, cookies, and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, measure activity, and secure access. Approximate location analytics are intended for city or regional insights rather than precise fan tracking.
Data choices and rights
You may decline optional marketing consent. You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP and may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the provided link. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about how your personal information is used. Contact us to submit a request.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain consent and transaction records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no online system is completely secure.
Children
TAKEBK is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as TAKEBK evolves. The effective date above indicates the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
